(i) Bauchi State University, Gadau, Federal University of Technology, Owerri (FUTO) and Federal University of Technology, Minna accept NCE, OND, HND with overall credit passes in each of the Agric components of the programme or a minimum of Lower Credit plus four ‘O’ level credit passes in relevant subjects. Federal University of Technology, Owerri (FUTO) does not accept NCE.
(ii) University of Ibadan (UI) and Federal University of Technology, Owerri (FUTO) require two of Physics, Chemistry and Biology and OND/HND in Agriculture or Animal Health and Husbandry.
(iii) Ekiti State University, University of Agriculture, Makurdi and Michael Okpara University of Agricultural Umudike – Same as in Agric Economics.
(iv) Federal University of Technology, Owerri (FUTO) and Ekiti State University – As in Agric Economics & Extension and does not accept NCE.
(v) Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ago Iwoye: (a) accepts credit pass in OND (Agric) to 100 level programme (b) requires ‘A’ level pass in both Chemistry and Biology
(vi) Adamawa State University Mubi (ADSU) accepts OND (distinction), HND (credit), NCE (double major) at credit level in Agric.
(vii) Niger Delta University Yenagoa (NDU) – Same as in Fisheries Technology.
(viii) Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Ogbomoso (LAUTECH) requires ND with Upper Credit/HND/NCE at Credit Level in relevant subjects, (Plus UTME requirements) may be considered for admission into 200 Level
(ix) Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB) accepts: (a) Two A’ level credit passes in Chemistry and one of Zoology/Botany/Agricultural Science/Biology, Mathematics or Physics. (b) ND/HND (Upper credit) in Agriculture from a recognised institution in any one of Animal Sciences, Animal Production and Health, Husbandry, AgricEconomics, Fisheries and Forestry and Wildlife Management plus UTME requirements. (c) NCE in Agricultural Science, Biology, Chemistry or Physics (credit) plus UTME requirements.
(x) Federal University of Technology, Akure may admit candidates into the second year (200 level) of the programme through direct entry if they have a National Diploma with a minimum of Upper Credit or equivalent from recognized Polytechnics and Colleges of Technology in relevant disciplines (agricultural sciences). Such candidates are also expected to meet the requirements for UTME admission. Also candidates who possess GCE (A/L) or equivalent with passes in at least two of the following subjects are eligible for admission: Physics Chemistry and Biology may be considered for admission into 200 level.
(xi) Joseph Ayo Babalola University, Ikeji-Arakeji requires Chemistry, Biology/Agric. Sci and any others from Economics, Physics, Geography and Mathematics. OND/NCE Upper credit in relevant areas

What is WAEC, NECO, GCE, Special Consideration (Waiver) for Animal Production and Health Services
(i) Cross River State University of Science &Technology, Calabar (CRUTECH), Ekiti State University, University of Agriculture, Makurdi and Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka (UNIZIK) accept a pass in Physics.
(ii) Adamawa State University Mubi (ADSU), Federal University of Technology, Owerri (FUTO) and Bauchi State University, Gadau accept a pass in Physics with a credit pass in Mathematics or vice-versa.
(iii) Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka (UNIZIK) accepts a pass in English Language. A credit pass in Mathematics or a pass in Physics or vice versa.
(iv) Federal University of Technology, Owerri (FUTO) – As in Agric Economics & Extension.
(v) Niger Delta University Yenagoa (NDU) requires five ‘O’ level credit passes in English, Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics, Biology or Agricultural Science.
(vi) Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB) as in Agric. Extension and Rural Development.
(vii) Michael Okpara University of Agricultural Umudike – Same as in Agriculture.
(viii) Abia State University, Uturu requires credit in Physics
(ix) Federal University of Technology, Akure requires five credits in WASSCE or NECO or GCE (O/L) or equivalent at a maximum of two sittings in the following subjects: English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology or Agricultural Science.
(x) Joseph Ayo Babalola University, Ikeji-Arakeji accepts a pass in Physics.
(xi) Federal University of Technology, Minna – Same as in Water Resources, Aquaculture and fisheries Technology.
(xii) Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Ogbomoso (LAUTECH) accepts Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology/Agric Science, Physics and English Language.
