JAMB UTME subject combination (requirements) for Education and Arabic
Knowing JAMB subjects for Education and Arabic is not enough. You should aim for a score of 180 – 200 and above in JAMB UTME to be on a safe side (Just a piece of advice) because anything short of that may deny you of Admission/Post UTME. Education and Arabic is how many years course and under which faculty?
Depending on your mode of entry, Education and Arabic is a three to four years course in Nigeria. According to JAMB, this course is under Faculty of Education but may be under a different faculty in some universities.

Special Consideration
The SSCE O level and A-level subject needed to study Education and Arabic have been listed above but, some Universities may accept D7 or E8 in some a compulsory subject instead of Credit. And some may accept or reject two sittings. That is combinations of WAEC, NECO, or GCE results. You will know more when you take a look at the special consideration (waiver) for this course
What is Direct Entry Special Consideration to study Education and Arabic
(i) EDZAR requires five SSCE credits in English Language, Arabic and any other three subjects including a pass in Mathematics. Accepts NCE in Arabic combined with another subject with a minimum of ‘C’ grade across including Education.
(ii) Umar Musa Yar’ Adua University Katsina (UMYU) accepts two A/Level credit in Arabic and any other Arts subjects. NCE at credit Level in Arabic is also acceptable.
(iv) Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria accepts: (a) Two ‘A’ level/IJMB passes which must include Arabic. (b) NCE with minimum of C grade in Arabic.
(v) University of Ilorin (UNILORIN) accepts candidates: (a) who do not offer Arabic at UTME but meet UTME entry requirements may be considered for admission into 100 level. (b) with Senior Islamic Studies Certificates as entry qualification for Islamic Studies/Arabic and related programmes
What is WAEC, NECO, GCE Special Consideration to study Education and Arabic
(i) Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria accepts T.C. II at credit/merit level.
(ii) Umar Musa Yar’ Adua University Katsina (UMYU) requires five credit in EnglishLanguage, Arabic and any other three Arts subjects with a credit in Mathematics.
(iii) University of Abuja, Gwagwalada and Lagos State University, Ojo (LASU) require five (5) ‘O’ Level Credit Passes in SSCE/NECO, GCE to include Mathematics, Arabic and English Language.
