A Criminology and Securities Studies degree is closely related to sociology. It allows you to examine a range of subjects including intelligence, counter-terrorism, and conflict. This will equip you with a wide range of knowledge about both national and international politics, and how politics can impact both Securities and inSecurities in Nigeria.

You will also learn more about topics such as the role of MI5 and MI6, extremism, terrorism and counter-terrorism and conflict in the modern world, and International Relations.

Criminology and Securities Studies is among the few courses supported by local and national criminal justice agencies, including the police force, charities, pressure groups, criminal justice agencies, criminal rehabilitation, probation service and prisons. More, this course is delivered by experienced lecturers in the fields of policing, Securities studies and Criminology and Securities Studies.

 

WAEC Subject Requirements To Study Criminology and Securities Studies

In WAEC, NECO or GCE, you are expected to register a maximum of 9 subjects for a Criminology and Securities Studies degree. You can register for less than 9 subjects if you are resitting.
