Do you want to study abroad? Eastern Oregon University in the United States is requesting for International students for Admission. Applicants who are not United States citizens or immigrants will be considered for admission to Eastern Oregon University as international students. All international applicants must submit the following to the Office of Admissions:
- Application for Undergraduate Admission
- Official academic transcripts
- Official English language testing scores
- Affidavit of Support and financial documents
- Photocopy of passport
- *Any other documents required per instructions below.
A $90 application fee is required.
Freshman: To be considered for admission, international students applying from high school must have:
- The equivalent to a standard U.S. high school diploma (modified, honorary or other non-standard diplomas are not recognized).
- A grade point average equivalent to 2.75 on the U.S. 4.00 scale. Official transcripts must be submitted in English. Transcripts should be evaluated by WES, SpanTran or another NACES-approved organization.
- English proficiency as demonstrated by one of the following: a minimum score of 61 on the internet-based TOEFL exam or 500 on the paper-based TOEFL exam; a minimum score of 5 on the IELTS exam; or satisfactory completion of level 112 in an English language school.
- Verification of finances through the Affidavit of Support form and bank statements (current to within 6 months of application).
Transfer: To be considered for admission, international transfer students must have:
- The equivalent to a minimum 2.25 cumulative grade point average on the U.S. 4.00 scale taken from an accredited college or university. Official transcripts must be submitted in English. Transcripts should be evaluated by WES, SpanTran or another NACES-approved organization. Students with fewer than 30 transferable credits must also meet the freshman requirements listed above.
- English proficiency as demonstrated by one of the following: a minimum score of 61 on the internet-based TOEFL exam or 500 on the paper-based TOEFL exam; a minimum score of 5 on the IELTS exam; satisfactory completion of level 112 in an English language school; or successful completion of the American Classroom Readiness course.
- Verification of finances through the Affidavit of Support form and bank statements (current to within 6 months of application).
Graduate: To be considered for admission, international graduate students must have:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution. Official transcripts must be submitted in English. Transcripts should be evaluated by WES, SpanTran or another NACES-approved organization.
- English proficiency as demonstrated by one of the following: a minimum score of 79 on the internet-based TOEFL exam or 550 on the paper-based TOEFL exam; a minimum score of 6 on the IELTS exam; or satisfactory completion of level 112 in an English language school.
- Verification of finances through the Affidavit of Support form and bank statements (current to within 6 months of application).
